The Website Coordinator will be responsible for:

Online experience of website users, subscribers, volunteers, donors, and staff. Ensure that the organization's online presence is among its strongest assets.

Responding quickly, and effectively help us with our web planning, and assist us in constantly improving our web presence.

Working effectively with Marketing, Creative Director, Content Manager, and IT.

Annually turning over the content for the new Festival season.

General Duties

  • Content updates
  • Site maintenance and planning
  • SEO duties
  • Analytics and reporting
  • Marketing campaign support
  • Plug-in updates, maintenance, light development
  • Review the site and ensure all links/pages are working
  • Assess site performance on a regular basis
  • Ensure the site is user friendly and easy to navigate
  • Monitor the level of security and update, as needed
  • Ensure the site is secure and the user data they may incorporate is safeguarded
  • Keep abreast of new technologies and software to develop the online presence and success of the site

Additional Responsibilities
Plan future modifications for the site

Critical Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience as a web developer or webmaster, including experience with systems analysis and design.
  • Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and possess the ability to execute with minimal direction.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with an overall passion for continuous improvement.
  • Innovative and creative, with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving.
  • Knowledge of basic HTML and CSS.

  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Effective and excellent communication: written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding organization skills, strong listening skills, and attention to detail.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
  • Acquainted with open source CMS packages (Wordpress, Dupral, Joomla, etc.)
