Requests for press access to the ILLUMINATE Film Festival should be made by submitting your name and credentials in the form below.

Press Releases, Photos, Film Stills

Press releases are distributed via email, and are also available online. If you wish to be added to the press list to receive releases, please indicate your preference on the form below.

ILLUMINATE Film Festival logos, banners, press releases are available from our electronic press kit. Please contact us for hi-resolution film posters and stills. You can copy web versions of film posters from our 2024 Festival website.

Editorial Coverage Requirements

Press Passholders have access to all Festival events, including film screenings (in-person and virtual), panels and conversations, and receptions. In exchange, press is expected to provide editorial coverage for the Festival, both in advance and onsite/post-fest. Filmmakers will be available for interviews throughout the Festival and red carpet press junkets before their screenings. Our publicity team will do our best to facilitate these opportunities.

Interviews

The Press department is able to aid you in setting up interviews with Festival executives, programmers, filmmakers, talent, etc. We will do our best to accommodate all requests, recognizing it will not always be possible. In order to meet press deadlines, we ask that you make requests in advance as often as possible.

Embargo Regulation for World Premieres

Reviews of films that celebrate their world premiere at the Festival may only be published after the official premiere. All journalists seeking accreditation to the Festival declare their acceptance of this "embargo."

Approval or Denial of Accreditation

The Festival reserves the right to approve or deny accreditation. The decision is final and cannot be appealed.
