Job Description

- Primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness in planning, communication, quality, and implementation of online marketing efforts.
- Overseeing work products produced by digital design, photo, podcasts, web, social media, and newsletter.
- Assemble team for Website, Blog, Social Media, and Newsletter.
- Onboard new team members.
- Work with Content Manager and Editorial Calendar for timely and consistent messaging.
- Maintain online marketing information on Google Drive.
- Conduct departmental meetings with marketing online sub-team.
- Facilitate communication between online team and other marketing members.
- Regularly update Managing Director regarding Master Timeline status.
- Work closely with Creative Director for consistent branding.
WEBSITE (not required at this time)
- Plan annual website turn-over with Executive Director and Managing Director:
- Pages and content
- Menu structure
- Social media elements
- Ease of donation
- Annual campaign integration with Creative Director
- Plan and oversee web editor's work.
- Create web editing standards.
- Oversee web editor's SEO practices and web traffic analysis.
- Provide proofing and quality control.
BLOG
- Assign and manage blogger article schedules, topics, etc.
- Create blogger guidelines.
- Ensure article content is leveraged by social media coordinator for Facebook and Twitter.
- Provide proofing and quality control.
SOCIAL MEDIA
- Oversee social media schedule and posts.
- Ensure timely and consistent messaging.
- Create social media posting guidelines.
- Develop programs for increased following, sharing, and loyalty.
NEWSLETTER
- Oversee newsletter schedule, production and delivery.
- Ensure editorial calendar is followed.
- Create newsletter guidelines.
- Ensure mail lists are clean and structured, and bounced emails managed.
- Ensure contact list is continually populated with web sign-ups, donor cards, and any other form of contact information collection.
- Provide proofing and quality control.
DIGITAL DESIGN, PHOTO & PODCASTS
- Work closely with and under the direction of the Creative Director.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with other departments.
- Manage schedules and action items.
- Develop style guides.
- Ensure digital elements are stored in appropriate places and with structure.
- Ensure digital elements are available for multiple purposes when appropriate.
- Provide proofing and quality control.
Attend Bi-Weekly Dream Team Meetings
Weekly meetings with Marketing Department
Lead Bi-Weekly Online Marketing Team meetings
Attend interdepartmental meetings as needed
- Prepare detailed WRAP REPORT, along with other team members
- Transition successor
- Perform other duties as assigned
